GoogleとSkypeなしの生活は考えられない身体になってしまい
ちとヤバイと思う今日この頃なのでありますが･･･ （同じという方いませんか？）
先週の16日からの2日間はほんと焦ったっすよ（＾＾；；
さて、その「Skype（スカイプ）」の障害の始まりは･･･
マイクロソフトくんの『Windows Update』だって話 マジ？

ピアツーピアネットワークは、Windows Updateを通して火曜日恒例の
パッチを受けた後、不安定になった うんぬん･･･ という書き込みが！
On Thursday, 16th August 2007, the Skype peer-to-peer network became unstable and suffered a critical disruption. The disruption was triggered by a massive restart of our users’ computers across the globe within a very short timeframe as they re-booted after receiving a routine set of patches through Windows Update.

Normally Skype’s peer-to-peer network has an inbuilt ability to self-heal, however, this event revealed a previously unseen software bug within the network resource allocation algorithm which prevented the self-healing function from working quickly. Regrettably, as a result of this disruption, Skype was unavailable to the majority of its users for approximately two days.

まぁ その後の接続要求も一因のようですが Windows Updateのせいに
するかぁ？？ ううううむ（苦笑）
現在は 再発しないように改良したとありますが（＾＾；
教訓：
ホンちゃん鯖のパッチ当ては 念には念をいれてやんさい ってことだな
基本っちゃ基本ではあるが（＾＾；
あ、今回のｕｐｄａｔｅうんぬんってのは利用するユーザー側からの
マシン再起動による接続要求の過負荷に対して skype鯖がリソース不足に
ってことっす なんか文章とっちらかって失礼（笑）
